MAGCRETE
is a relatively fast-reacting polymer ceramic cement
that is 100% inorganic, noncombustible and moisture resistant granting these as
well as other characteristics to filler materials and reinforcements. In
contrast to other magnesia cement systems this cement will accept and perform
very well with most of the known fillers, aggregates and various waste
materials, including most metals. MAGCRETE is economically and
environmentally superior to current practices due to the fact this cement
utilizes a cold fusion curing process to encapsulate the various filler
materials. No water is used in the mixing stage allowing low permeability
resulting in excellent freeze-thaw resistance compared to other cements.
ATTENTION: There has
been recently developed a FOAMED version of MAGCRETE with closed-cell structure.
Besides the basic properties of the prototype MAGCRETE, FOAMED MAGCRETE features
high thermal insulation properties combined with low gas permeability and water
absorption, high mechanical strength, fire resistance, low specific weight,
cost-efficiency, etc. Its raw liquid system can be poured into moulds and voids,
and it can be pre-formed in any shape according to the need, with a wide variety
of applications. Detailed technical and performance characteristics will be made
available to the public after completion of tests.
